Shop Helper (Countertop Division)

Responsibilities Assist with the assembly of countertops using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment. Support the operation of heavy machinery such as forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials safely around the shop. Prepare materials for manufacturing processes, ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist with polishing, machining, or fabrication tasks as directed by supervisors. Support inventory management by organizing supplies and assisting with warehouse operations. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in manufacturing or construction environments. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, polishing equipment, and machining processes is preferred. Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is highly desirable. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong attention to safety procedures. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Willingness to learn new skills related to countertop fabrication and assembly.
