Kraze Trucking LLCJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our trucking maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of our truck and equipment repair shop, ensuring that all trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, including vehicle repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment servicing. Diagnose complex mechanical issues across a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and farm machinery using schematics and automotive electrical systems. Lead troubleshooting efforts for transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, suspensions, and steering components to ensure timely repairs. Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks; ensure proper storage and documentation. Assign work orders to technicians based on skill level and workload; monitor progress to meet operational deadlines. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance. Provide training and mentorship to shop staff on mechanical systems repair, welding, tire service, and the use of power tools. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, service history, and parts usage for all fleet vehicles. Experience Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician with a strong background in heavy truck repair and fleet maintenance. Dealership experience or extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with fabrication techniques, welding, and equipment repair enhances your ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Hands-on experience working with Cummins/ Paccar and Volvo . Strong understanding of schematics for electrical systems, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension alignment, HVAC systems, and diesel engines. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in hand tools, power tools, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting procedures. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while applying mechanical knowledge effectively. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
