Shop Assistant & Tow Truck Driver

Company Overview We are a busy auto body repair shop and towing company in Pierz, MN looking for a full-time Monday - Friday shop assistant/tow truck operator. Our shop is very advanced with much of the latest technology available in our industry to make our employees jobs easier. Our tow trucks are all very new and up to date. We will train you for this position. The ideal candidate should live with in a 15-25 mile radius of our shop at 9862 Highway 25 Pierz Responsibilities - Safely operate a flat bed tow truck and wrecker. - Tow operators often communicate with vehicle owners or drivers to assess the situation, explain the towing process. - Load and unload cargo, unlock vehicles, jump starts, & general roadside assistance. - Track and document activity log - Light auto body repair qualifications - Driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to handle physical workload and have familiarity with tools - Perform light mechanical duties such and oil changes and routine general vehicle maintenance. -Daily shop duties while not towing include tow truck maintenance and up keep, maintenance to our loaner car fleet, organize storage areas and ensure tools are properly stored, Sweep, mop, and tidy up the shop area regularly, dispose of waste materials and follow safety protocols and customer vehicle cleaning and detailing. - Has to pass a background check and drug test.
