Shop and Warehouse Assistant

Company: Innovative Autoworx Inc. Position: Shop & Warehouse Assistant Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5:30, Rotating Saturdays 10-2 Reports To: Shipping Manager, Shop Foreman Amount of Travel Required: No travel required Training: Training will be provided. But familiarity with shipping and receiving duties considered an asset. POSITION SUMMARY We need an assistant to help our shipping department with daily operations. Picking products, inspecting, shipping + receiving. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist technicians with staging product for installation Assist in the warehouse with organization and shipping/receiving Packaging and wrapping skids for shipment Help keep shop and warehouse clean and organized POSITION REQUIREMENTS Actively listens to fellow employees, customers, and managers. Ability to identify problems, find solutions, and make sound decisions. Ability to do differing tasks during a work shift. Willingness and ability to comply with new programs, methods, practices, and procedures Must be able to lift 80+ LBS ABILITIES AND TALENTS RECOMMENDED FOR JOB SUCCESS Education High School Diploma or GED (asset but not required) Computer Skills Must have basic computer skills Other Skills and Abilities Passion for vehicles and previous experience in the industry are an asset but not required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00-$17.50 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 44.0 per week Work Location: In person
