We are currently looking for a Shipping Warehouse Supervisor to support day-to-day shipping operations at our Sturgis, MI facility. This role will help coordinate shipping activities, support the team on the floor, and ensure orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands-on supervisor role within our shipping department. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the Shipping/Warehouse department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management. Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to prioritize orders and meet shipping deadlines. Prepare shipping/Warehouse documents, labels, and packaging materials accurately and in compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards. Supervise loading and unloading operations, ensuring the safe handling and secure packaging of finished products for transportation. Maintain inventory accuracy and organize storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient order picking and staging. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries. Conduct regular inspections of shipping/Warehouse equipment and facilities, addressing any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Train and mentor shipping/Warehouse department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Monitor shipping performance metrics, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. Perform other duties as required Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and customer Satisfaction Qualifications/Skills Required High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role Strong knowledge of shipping/Warehouse processes, including packaging, labeling, and transportation regulations Experience with UPS Worldship and Fedex shipping required Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of work Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution skills Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction Physical Requirements Safely and effectively handle objects weighing between 30-50 pounds on a consistent basis, with the capability to lift more if required Stand for extended periods Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Sustain physical endurance for fast-paced work Operate and work near machinery safely Max Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and expressly prohibits any form of workplace harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status, or any other basis that is protected by federal, state or local…
