Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided On-the-job training Safe work environment Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods in and out of our distribution center. Your primary focus will be on accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders to ensure timely delivery to our customers. Responsibilities: - Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices - Inspect shipped & received items for damages or defects and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel - Sort, label, and stock incoming products in designated storage areas - Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or order picking systems - Prepare shipping documents, including labels, packing slips, and bills of lading - Coordinate with carriers during daily pickups and deliveries - Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and packaged to prevent damages during transit - Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies - Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred - Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and procedures - Proficiency in reading & writing and other order picking systems - Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks or forklifts (certification preferred) - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Paid time off for holidays - Opportunities for career growth within the company If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for ensuring accurate order fulfillment, we would love to hear from you.
