Shipping/Warehouse Associate

Job Overview: As a Shipping/Warehouse Associate at our conditioning and heating company, you will be a key player in our supply chain operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping a wide range of products—including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, ductwork, refrigerants, filters, compressors, motors, and tools. Responsibilities: Shipping Operations: Accurately pick and pack HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies for technician jobs, customer orders, or shipping to external clients. Select appropriate packaging materials to protect sensitive and heavy equipment during transit (compressors, motors, electronic controls, copper tubing). Stage completed orders for technician pickup, customer will-call, or carrier shipment. Order Picking: Accurately pick HVAC parts and equipment from warehouse shelves, bins, and pallet racking based on work orders, service calls, or technician requests. Select products including compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, filters, ductwork, copper tubing, fittings, refrigerants, and tools. Warehouse Organization & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Organize shelving, bins, and pallet racking with clear labeling by product category and SKU. Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive or humidity-sensitive items (electronic controls, compressors, refrigerants). Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills for order processing. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
