What You'll Do As a Shipping Utility, you will support the safe and efficient movement of products and materials throughout Clearwater Paper's Lewiston mill. Responsibilities Include Learn and perform multiple jobs throughout the Shipping Department Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently Move finished products and raw materials throughout the operation Load and unload materials and equipment Assist in Shipping operations as needed Fill in for vacancies throughout the department and support operational needs Conduct routine equipment inspections and complete required check sheets Assist with basic maintenance and equipment care activities Participate in workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain housekeeping standards and a clean, organized work environment Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members Follow all safety procedures and operating practices Maintain attendance and dependability standards required for a 24/7 manufacturing operation Working Environment This position is located in an active manufacturing facility. Employees should expect: Exposure to hot, cold, and changing weather conditions depending on work location Industrial noise requiring hearing protection Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and operating equipment throughout the shift Working around forklifts, clamp trucks, trailers, railcars, and moving equipment Exposure to steam, compressed air, dust, lubrication systems, and hydraulic equipment U…
