supervising all aspects of the distribution process to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
• Working with an ERP inventory system
• Following HACCP food safe guidelines
• Coordinate and oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of product
• Supervise and lead teams within the Shipping Department
• Review and approve shipping documents including sales orders, purchase orders, load delivery documents etc.
• Implement shipping policies and procedures to improve efficiencies with reducing operational costs
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to the Shipping Department
• Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality control, etc. to ensure there are no shipping related issues to the customer
• Compliance of OHS polices in ensuring the safety of our team members and visitors
• Monitor and ensure inventory/product allocation is manage correctly
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years experience in a shipping or logistics supervisory role
• Forklift and pallet jack equipment experience
• Excellent organizational skills and planning
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipping related issues
• Detail oriented, focusing on accuracy of shipments and following up with team members
• Ability to effectively manage a team to ensure operations are completed as efficiently as possible
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Ability to multi-task

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
