Shipping Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator/Customer Liaison Manager to join our supply chain operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination of shipping activities, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and optimizing logistics processes. This position is open for anyone with minimum experienced to Journeyman. We do single and multiple details to print.We produce 3000 to 4000 different details in a month and we never do same part twice.We are high precision C.N.C shop with all "A" players . * We offer steady hours of 48 hours per week,No weekends, Top insurance,3% match on retirement,Bonuses,Excellent Enviroment,Paid holidays and Paid vacation. * You will be required to work independently, Hands on and manage all aspects of Expediting/Customers and Employees. Duties Coordinate and oversee all aspects of shipping logistics, including scheduling of outgoing deliveries/U.P.S. as well as help and manage bench area to insure onetime delivery to customers. Manage all vendors to include on time delivery. Collaborate with front office for shippers as well as emailing customers for on schedule delivery. Utilize Excell as well as being versed in phone communication as well as email communication to customers.All communication to be passed onto Plant manager. Maintain accurate records, jump in as needed in marking parts,deburring as well as dealing with any incoming vendors. Manage all incoming material to match steel with correct print and prep for vendors as needed. Foster cross-functional communication between customer,Plant manager and Employees in shipping and Deburring. Qualifications Proven experience in Job Shop environment and total knowledge of machining,heatreat,and coatings "Hands On " Individual who requires little to no supervision. Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs procedures. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such forklift,UPS,Shipping Excellent negotiation skills for vendor management and procurement activities; category management experience is advantageous. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively and follow thru to achieve "On Time" Ability to multi task as well as well as being able to think outside the box to streamline the product.
