• Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with transportation providers
• Ensure outgoing orders are accurately packed, labeled, documented, and ready for shipment
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and coordinate resolution of discrepancies
• Work with production and purchasing to monitor order readiness, material availability, and delivery timelines
• Track materials sent to outside vendors and follow up to support timely completion
• Maintain inventory accuracy through routine counts, recordkeeping, and discrepancy resolution
• Update shipment, receipt, and inventory information using spreadsheets and business management software
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, organization, and accuracy
• Promote safe material handling and maintain orderly shipping and storage areas
• Communicate shortages, delays, and other concerns that may affect operations
Skills
• At least two years of leadership experience overseeing employees and daily work priorities
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas
• Experience using an ERP or similar business management system
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and freight providers
• Availability to work required overtime and adjust hours based on business needs
