Shipping Store Clerk - DHL Express

Cubic Ship is hiring a dependable, friendly associate to help customers send packages and documents through DHL Express. This is an in-store customer service role. You will explain shipping options, prepare shipments, take payments, and keep the counter organized. Training is provided; shipping experience is helpful but not required. Schedule and openings The store operates six days a week, with usual shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We prefer to hire two part-time associates to share coverage, and both part-time and full-time positions are available. What you will do Greet customers, find out what they need to send, and explain shipping options and prices clearly. Weigh and measure packages, enter shipment details, and print and attach shipping labels. Check customer information, addresses, item descriptions, and required shipment paperwork for accuracy. Pack items securely and help customers choose suitable packing materials. Process payments and keep daily shipment and payment records accurate. Help with tracking questions and refer issues that need further support to the manager or carrier. Keep the counter, packing area, equipment, and supplies clean, stocked, and organized. Follow store and carrier procedures for acceptable items, shipment documentation, and safe handling. Ask a manager when a shipment needs review. What we are looking for Reliable attendance, punctuality, and friendly, respectful communication. Careful attention to addresses, measurements, payments, and paperwork. Comfort using computers and learning shipping software, scanners, and label printers. Ability to stay organized and manage several customer requests. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Customer service, retail, or clerical experience is preferred.
