export regulations. This role manages the end-to-end international shipping process, including documentation, carrier coordination, customs requirements, order processing, shipment tracking, and resolution of transportation issues.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of international shipping, customs documentation, and global trade requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Pick, pack, and prepare international customer orders for shipment.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams.
• Prepare and verify commercial invoices, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and other export documentation.
• Book and track shipments using air, ocean, and ground transportation services.
• Monitor shipments and proactively address delays, holds, or transportation issues.
• Manage customer shipping requests and provide shipment tracking information.
• Process international orders from order entry through shipment confirmation across multiple time zones and currencies.
• Review customer-specific shipping instructions and ensure all requirements are followed accurately.
• Ensure shipments comply with U.S. and foreign customs import/export requirements.
• Support compliance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and assist with determining Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) for Baxter products.
• Prepare export documentation required by U.S. and international freight companies.
• Create and modify customer invoices using Adobe Acrobat or Kofax software.
• Communicate with customers, freight companies, warehouse personnel, and internal operations teams regarding shipment requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve carrier-related issues and shipment discrepancies.
• Escalate unresolved shipping or logistics issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.

• Understanding of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and export-control requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in shipping documentation.

• Ability to read and understand legal terms, shipping requirements, and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, international business, or a related field is preferred.
