Shipping Specialist
The Postal Route, LLCOverview Key responsibilities: · Works at Shipping Counters · Operates the point-of-sale system, shipping software, and card processing equipment. · Perform various operations in all areas relating to job completion including but not limited to domestic shipping, international shipping, stamp sales, and understanding of carrier requirements from USPS, FedEx, DHL, Meest, and UPS. · Responsible for assisting customers with all store services and products. · Cleaning work area to include vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning counters, bathrooms, and windows. · Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. This position is not available to students. Available to work every other Saturday if needed. Flexible schedule during the year but must be available full time from the Monday after Thanksgiving until December 22nd. No time off permitted during the Holiday busy season. Requires walking, and occasionally carrying packages up to thirty-five pounds. Good to excellent typing and spelling skills. Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
