Eagle Woodworking | Methuen, MA | Full-Time About Eagle Woodworking Since 1980, Eagle Woodworking has been manufacturing high-quality custom dovetail drawers for cabinetmakers, woodworkers, and builders throughout the United States. We've recently expanded into custom cabinet doors and continue to grow as a manufacturer known for quality, reliability, and customer service. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our team and play an important role in getting our finished products into customers' hands. About the Role Shipping is the final step in our manufacturing process, and getting it right matters. In this hands-on position, you'll inspect finished products, organize completed customer orders, and prepare shipments for delivery. You'll work closely with our production and office teams to make sure orders are accurate, properly packaged, and ready to leave on schedule. We're looking for someone who is organized, works efficiently, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Someone who can recognize problems, figure out solutions, and keep things moving without constant supervision. What You'll Do Inspect finished dovetail drawers and cabinet doors to ensure quality and accuracy before shipment. Sort, organize, and stage completed products by customer and work order. Carefully package and prepare products for shipment, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition. Prepare shipping labels and documentation for parcel, freight, and local delivery orders. Prioritize daily shipments and help ensure customer orders leave on time. Identify discrepancies, missing items, or quality concerns and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them. Use computer-based systems to review orders, process shipments, and maintain accurate records. Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and running efficiently. Assist with receiving incoming materials as needed. Look for opportunities to improve shipping accuracy, organization, and workflow. What We're Looking For Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a busy production environment. Comfortable using computers and learning new software. Good judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Dependable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. Comfortable with physical, hands-on work throughout the day. Who Thrives at Eagle You take pride in doing things right the first time. You like being organized, keeping busy, and seeing the results of your work. You're the type of person who notices when something is missing, out of place, or doesn't look right — and takes action rather than waiting for someone else to address it. You work well with others but don't need someone looking over your shoulder. You understand the importance of accuracy, efficiency, and getting products out the door on time. Why Join Eagle? At Eagle Woodworking, we believe our employees are the heart of our business. We invest in our people and strive to create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and proud of the work they do. We're a growing company looking for people who want to build a long-term career, contribute to a strong team, and help us continually improve. If you're hardworking, organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy taking ownership of your work, we'd love to hear from you.
