What’s a typical day as a Shipping/Receiving Worker? You’ll be:
• Performing general warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Moving, handling, and storing materials using appropriate equipment and standard processes.
• Using warehouse systems and RF scanners to track inventory and update transactions in real time.
• Verifying product accuracy and condition during handling, processing, and staging.
• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory movement and completed work.
• Supporting inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock organization.
• Preparing products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and staging orders.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve daily productivity and performance targets.
• Adapting to changing operational priorities and supporting multiple areas as needed.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Have 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related environment (preferred).
• Possess a basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations.
• Have experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS), or a strong willingness to learn.
• Are able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive movement.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented setting.
• Bring basic problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Show strong reliability, a dedicated work ethic, and basic computer proficiency.
