Shipping / Receiving / Stock Clerk – WOL
Wolcott, IN


About the Role

DwyerOmega is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping / Receiving / Stock Clerk to join our Wolcott, IN team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for performing receiving, warehouse, and shipping duties for raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies, completed units, and supplies in accordance with established procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming items against purchase or production orders; complete receiving documentation 
  • Use print files for identification as needed 
  • Count items using scales or hand count; note discrepancies or damage and notify leadership 
  • Pick orders for production or shipment to vendors and warehouse locations 
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment (apply protective fill, dunnage, tape, etc.) 
  • Load and unload trucks; complete and file required paperwork 
  • Perform periodic inventory checks and complete required documentation 
  • Label parts, cartons, and containers with required product and customer information 
  • Operate powered forklifts, hand trucks, and carts safely 
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization 
  • Enter and transmit data using computer systems and prepare basic reports as needed
     
Requirements

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related environment preferred 
  • Ability to learn receiving, storage, and shipping systems within a short training period 
  • Comfortable working under direction with support available for unusual transactions 
  • Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, occasional 10-key use) 
  • Forklift experience preferred 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 
  • Ability to walk throughout the facility 
  • Ability to reach above shoulders 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds 
  • Ability to push and pull carts or materials 
  • Ability to perform repetitive wrist motions 
  • Ability to operate hand and/or foot controls
