Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors Receive newly donated items from our Donations team Help us be green and sustainable, sort and ship recyclable items Lift up to 50 lbs. Position Overview America's Thrift Stores is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Distribution Shipping/Receiving Team Member to join our Distribution Center team! This position plays an important role in keeping our distribution operations running smoothly by receiving, sorting, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workspace. Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no regularly scheduled nights or weekends! Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. Inspect, verify, and document incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality. Sort, organize, package, and prepare merchandise for distribution. Label and process outgoing shipments according to established procedures. Assist with coordinating shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Organize and maintain merchandise throughout the Distribution Center. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and replenishment. Identify, sort, and consolidate merchandise into designated categories. Operate baling equipment and prepare materials for processing or shipment.
