Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

About the role We are hiring a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to lead the overnight shift at a wood manufacturing facility in Austin, TX. You will run the dock, lead the shipping and receiving team, and make sure inbound lumber and materials and outbound finished products move accurately, safely, and on time. You work four nights and have three days off every week. What you'll do Supervise and direct the overnight shipping and receiving team Oversee the receiving, unloading, and verifying of inbound lumber and materials against purchase orders Make sure outbound orders of finished wood products are staged, loaded, and shipped accurately and on schedule Coordinate truck pickups and deliveries with carriers and drivers Verify shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing lists Keep inventory records accurate and report discrepancies or damages Train team members and enforce safety procedures Communicate shift status and open issues to day-shift leadership and other departments What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving experience; prior lead or supervisor experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (wood products, lumber, or building materials is a plus) Able to lead a team and make decisions independently on an overnight shift Strong attention to detail with paperwork and inventory Able to stand, walk, and lift up to [50] lbs through a 12-hour shift Reliable attendance and transportation for the overnight schedule Why apply $28.00 per hour Four-night work week with three days off Leadership role with ownership of the shift If you're an experienced shipping and receiving leader who works well on nights, apply today.
