Shipping & Receiving Specialist

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment. We are seeking an experienced shipping/receiving clerk to join our team! This person will participate as a key member of the staff to help facilitate and efficiently run the inventory and shipping/receiving. This individual will demonstrate good decision-making abilities under pressure, be attentive to detail, be a problem solver, and have strong organizational skills. The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate and complete the following: Complete daily cycle counts of inventory Study and enter shipping notices, BOL’s, invoices, orders, and other records necessary to determine shipping priorities Manage accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments Must know how to load shipments onto semi trailers. Must have knowledge of Freight and DOT Make arrangements with carriers for pickups for domestic shipments Follow up via phone and email with client and carriers Prepare items for shipment ensuring lanes are properly stacked Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives Bilingual preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment.
