Shipping & Receiving Railcar - 1st Shift

Description: Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Railcar Reports To: Department Supervisor FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt 1st Shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Overtime required based on production need. $16.50/hour Interviews and Orientation will be held at our Van Buren facility: 5800 Alma Hwy. Job location will be full-time at our Fort Smith Warehouse: 1301 North 4th St. Tends pump that pumps incoming ingredients from tankers and/or railcars to storage tank, and cleans and sanitizes tankers and/or railcars by performing the following duties: Other duties may be assigned. Dips and pours sample of ingredient from vent hole of tanker/railcar into bottle for laboratory analysis. Connects hose between sanitary valves of tanker/railcar and storage tank, starts pump, and turns valves to transfer ingredient to tank. Stops pump when transfer is completed. Disconnects hose from tanker/railcar and connects nozzle of tank cleaning system to tanker/railcar. Starts equipment that automatically rinses, washes, and sanitizes interior of tanker/railcar. Removes nozzle and seals vent hole. Washes exterior of tanker/railcar and pumping equipment. Fills totes with raw goods.
