Shipping/Receiving Position

Looking for an individual to perform shipping and receiving duties in a warehouse for an online mail-order business. This is a "light duty" but busy shipping position that requires a critical eye for detail. Most items shipped are fragile gifts that require careful, attentive packing. Job Duties Include: Receive Merchandise: Check for any damages or shortages. Compare received items to the original purchase order. Apply barcodes to incoming merchandise and stock shelves. Fulfillment: Hand-pick merchandise to accurately fulfill customer orders. Ship Merchandise: Carefully inspect the order and products before packing and shipping. Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Job Requirements: Must have previous shipping and receiving experience. Must have basic computer skills and be able to navigate the internet. Must be a self-starter who can work independently and remain highly detail-oriented. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently. Must be dependable, have a stable work history, and work well with others. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must speak, understand, and write English fluently. Schedule & Compensation: Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Overtime: Some overtime opportunities may be available. Duration: This is a temporary/seasonal position through December 2026 .
