Shipping & Receiving Material Handler

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse operations. Responsibilities Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movement accurately Prepare packages for shipment by selecting, packing, and labeling orders efficiently Manage stock levels through proper stocking, order picking, and order fulfillment procedures Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or AS400 platforms Ensure all shipments are compliant with safety standards and company policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment Skills Proven experience with warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and order picking processes Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners and MRP systems Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, load & unload pallets, and stocking shelves Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively This role offers an engaging environment where your proactive approach helps keep our warehouse running seamlessly.
