Position: Shipping & Receiving Clerk We are a growing manufacturing company located in the Vaughan area and are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory control, material handling, and maintaining an organized warehouse. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Multiple shift availability is required. Candidates must be flexible and available to work different shifts based on operational requirements. Responsibilities Accurately prepare, update, and maintain all shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation Pick and prepare customer orders with strict attention to accuracy and product specifications Verify products, quantities, part numbers, and paperwork before shipment Perform basic quality control inspections, including measuring, weighing, package counts, and evaluating product condition Package, palletize, label, and securely wrap products and skids for shipment Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and products against packing slips and purchase orders Put away received inventory in designated warehouse locations Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control activities Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged products, or incorrect quantities Ensure inventory is properly identified, labelled, stored, and organized Assist with maintaining accurate warehouse locations and inventory levels within the company's inventory/ERP system Monitor stock movement and communicate inventory concerns to management Operate a counterbalance forklift safely; a valid forklift operator certification is required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and operational standards Work closely with production, customer service, purchasing, and management as required Assist with training or coordinating warehouse activities when required Perform additional warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory duties as assigned by management Qualifications & Profile Minimum 1–2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, order picking, or inventory experience Previous inventory control experience is strongly preferred Valid counterbalance forklift certification is required Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude Must be available to work multiple shifts based on operational requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory and order accuracy Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to follow instructions and established procedures Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Some leadership capabilities and the ability to take initiative are preferred Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues, supervisors, and management Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer skills and experience using inventory, warehouse, or ERP software are considered an asset Commitment to excellent internal and external customer service We appreciate all applicants who express interest in this position; however, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
