Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist

Established medical equipment sales and service company with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service. We sell, refurbish, and service medical equipment for hospitals, surgery centers, medical clinics, outpatient facilities, and immediate care centers. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated team player to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines shipping, receiving, inventory management, and computer work, with opportunities to learn new skills and assist our technical staff. Job Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, inspect deliveries, unpack equipment, and coordinate outgoing orders. Data Entry & Documentation: Enter information accurately into our computer system and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Shipping Paperwork: Prepare bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, shipping labels, and other required documents. Packaging & Palletizing: Safely package, wrap, palletize, and secure medical equipment for shipment. Crating & Freight Preparation: Build or assist with building wooden crates and custom packaging when needed, especially for larger or delicate equipment. Inventory Organization: Keep inventory shelves, equipment, accessories, and shipping supplies organized and properly labeled. Repair Shop Support: Work alongside our technicians and engineers, learning how to assist with equipment preparation, basic assembly, and repair-related activities. Equipment Cleaning & Detailing: Clean and detail medical equipment to meet our high-quality standards before shipment. General Team Support: Assist coworkers with day-to-day shop activities and help keep operations running smoothly. Position Details Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois Work Location: In person Compensation: $22.00 per hour Medical equipment experience is not required.
