We are located in Southern Franklin County, just 25 minutes North of Burlington, and close to Lake Champlain. Position: Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control Clerk LMS is looking for an eager individual to take on the critical role of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Control. This is an hourly 1st shift position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Shipping & Receiving Key Responsibilities: Monitor shipping schedule and plan shipments in coordination with Production Supervisor and Contracts Manager Become fluent in ERP/MRP system in relation to documenting and recording shipping and receiving materials/products Ensure that boxes, packing materials, labeling, and packing slips are in accordance with customer and LMS requirements Maintain access to customer and shipper web portals; submit and receive shipping notifications as required Inventory Control Key Responsibilities: Kit sub-assemblies and finished goods to maintain build flow with direction from the Production Supervisor Ensure proper handling, storage, issuance, and disposal of parts and materials Transact all inventory related activities in a timely and accurate manner in the ERP system Report monthly on status of inventory accuracies and inventory risks Maintain ERP stated inventory accuracy through shop order adjustments or manual adjustments Communicate with Supply Chain to reorder/purchase parts to maintain inventory levels and meet demand Adhere to all ESD requirements and handling practices Additional Responsibilities Ability to cross-train and perform simple subassembly tasks to assist production floor in maintaining monthly and quarterly goals Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED 1-3+ years of relevant experience, electromechanical experience is a plus! Professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience using an MRP/ERP system is preferred Experience in ESD environment is a plus Competencies High attention to detail, and well organized Positive attitude and eager to learn Excellent communication skills Ability to follow established processes and work instructions Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Must be a US Person No forklift experience or certification necessary Why Join LMS?
