Job Description Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Control In this rewarding and important role, you will support company-wide operations through the shipping and receiving of vital parts, material, and equipment to support our company-wide construction and service operations. Maintaining accurate and controlled inventory is a vital aspect of this role. Essential Duties: Forklift certified or experienced, DAILY use of sit-down propane forklifts Support multiple departments by receiving and stocking parts and materials according to established procedures. Pull required parts and materials from stock and stage for delivery or pickup Load and unload all types of vehicles with parts, material, equipment and more, by hand, by forklift, etc. Both indoor and outdoors, rain or shine. Inspect all delivery receipts for accuracy, inspection of all received material and parts to be free from damage and correct parts/material are received, refuse shipments as necessary Accurately complete required computer entry and/or documentation to track inventory. Maintains accurate and secured inventory control: ensures all employees are signing out parts to jobs/vehicles, maintains access control to secured inventory stocking locations Inventory stock parts and materials, maintaining minimum stock quantities of all stocked parts and material - Other duties as assigned and as needed - Some limited overtime required as needed throughout the year Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred, plus a minimum of 3-5 years’ of RELATED work experience preferred. Warehouse/Inventory/Shipping/Receiving experience preferred Requires data entry experience, both computer data entry and hand-written logs and records Requires ability to work independently with full responsibility for the duties listed above Good communication skills, verbal and written Experience with MS Office software. Critical Physical Requirements: Daily use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools required Requires activities being around moving machinery, exposure to changes in temperature, humidity, and noise. Warehouse and stocking locations are indoor and outdoor, so working in all types of weather and temperatures.
