Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Clerk

Job Title: Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, purchase orders and packing slips. Unload, sort, and store products and materials in designated warehouse locations. Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments accurately and on time. Coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight companies. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Ensure all shipments are properly documented and entered into inventory systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow company safety policies and procedures. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. Support warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills. Forklift certification is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures.
