Shipping & Receiving Inspector – Aviation Parts

Aviation experience is a plus. No experience? We’ll train you. ABOUT US We are a family-owned, women-owned civil aircraft parts company. THE ROLE You'll work directly with our Quality Assurance, Operations, and transaction coordination teams to receive incoming aviation material, maintain our warehouse inventory, and prepare outgoing orders. Day to day, you will: Receiving Receive incoming shipments and check them against paperwork Review traceability documentation and perform visual inspections prior to receiving parts into Quantum Control Identify alternate part numbers not previously recorded and update Quantum Control after verification Warehouse & Inventory Put parts away in their assigned bins and shelf locations and record locations accurately in Quantum Control Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and orderly, including sweeping and general cleaning Shipping Pull parts from inventory and check them against the customer's order to confirm their requirements are met Pack and ship parts Create shipping labels through FedEx, UPS, or DHL per customer request Give the transaction coordinator shipping details once a shipment is ready for will-call or customer pickup Notify a senior inspector when a shipment involves items that require certificates or special handling WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Strong attention to detail and careful documentation habits Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel Experience in receiving, shipping, inventory, or warehouse work is a plus Experience with Quantum Control (Component Control) or FedEx/UPS/DHL shipping systems is a plus Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. Heavier items are handled with a two-person lift. TRAINING You'll be trained on our receiving, inspection, shipping, and part number verification processes, including handling of items that require certificates. SCHEDULE Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (40 hours per week). Day shift, no nights or weekends. We are an equal opportunity employer.
