Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving Inspector Location: 746 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38105 Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | $20–$25/hour, depending on experience We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and helping ensure materials are properly organized, stocked, and ready for use. You'll work closely with our manufacturing and warehouse teams to verify incoming materials, maintain inventory accuracy, perform quality checks, and keep shipping and receiving areas organized and operating efficiently. What You'll Do: Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, condition, and quality. Perform receiving inspections and required quality assurance checks. Maintain accurate inventory records and process inventory transactions within the company ERP system. Distribute incoming materials to the appropriate areas throughout the facility. Stock, organize, and rotate inventory to maintain proper material flow. Assist with inventory counts and help identify or resolve inventory discrepancies. Coordinate with other departments regarding incoming materials and deliveries. Maintain shipping and receiving documentation and records. Keep shipping, receiving, and inventory areas clean, organized, clearly identified, and easily accessible. Operate a forklift as needed while following all company safety standards and procedures. What We're Looking For: 3–5 years of warehouse, stocking, inventory control, or related experience preferred. 2+ years of Quality Control or Receiving Inspection experience preferred. Experience receiving and inspecting incoming materials. Experience maintaining inventory records or working within an ERP/inventory system. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. Ability to stay organized while managing multiple inventory and receiving tasks. Forklift experience preferred; must be able to meet company forklift qualification requirements. High school diploma or GED required. Additional education or training in inventory control or lean manufacturing is a plus. Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on relevant receiving, inventory, warehouse, and quality inspection experience.
