Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Direct Hire Solutions Location: Rhode Island Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Direct Hire Solutions is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift operating experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Move raw materials, finished products, and inventory to designated storage and production areas. Perform material handling duties to support manufacturing and warehouse operations. Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate inventory movement and follow proper material handling procedures. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as needed. Requirements Previous forklift operating experience required. Valid forklift certification preferred. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed. Work Schedule Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Must be available to work overtime, including extended hours and additional days as needed.
