Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods through shipping and receiving processes, utilizing forklifts and electric pallet jacks to organize the warehouse. Proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and seamless warehouse operations. Duties Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Accurately receive inbound shipments by inspecting, verifying quantities, and recording data onto a record/log Prepare outbound shipments by selecting, packing, and staging products according to shipping logistics standards Maintain precise inventory records through data entry and warehouse management systems to ensure stock accuracy Assist with order picking, packing, stocking, and order fulfillment activities to meet customer demands efficiently Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping documentation requirements for international trade where applicable Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety standards and optimize warehouse operations Experience Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment with certification preferred Knowledge in FEFO FIFO Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order processing, and stock control procedures Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Prior experience in warehouse operations including stocking, picking & packing, load & unload activities Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance practices is a plus Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Are you able to stand and walk for long shifts, and consistently lift heavy containers weighing 50 pounds or more?
