Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP systems Accurately document all shipping and receiving transactions through data entry into warehouse management systems Prepare items for shipment by packing, labeling, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards Conduct inventory counts and stock replenishment activities using inventory management tools to maintain accurate stock levels Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes efficiently Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking supplies and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Skills Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Strong understanding of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards Skilled in forklift operation, including certification where required, with knowledge of pallet jacks and order pickers Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to inventory counts, weights, and dimensions Exceptional customer service mindset to support internal teams and external partners effectively Knowledge of warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, order picking & packing, load & unload procedures Join us in a role that combines physical activity with critical logistical responsibilities!
