Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining seamless shipping and receiving operations. Duties Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and update inventory records accurately Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and staging products according to shipping logistics requirements Maintain accurate data entry of shipment details, inventory levels, and stock movements. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols and trade regulations Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize order fulfillment processes and improve overall warehouse operations Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and cycle counts to support inventory management efforts Skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory management software. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing. Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate stock tracking and order processing.
