MSR Technology Group DBA InfomaticsRole Overview The Materials Associate will support aerospace manufacturing operations by managing the flow, storage, tracking, and accuracy of materials used in production. The role will perform shipping, receiving, inventory, packing, data entry, and material-handling activities while ensuring materials are properly tracked and compliant with company and quality requirements. The team is looking for candidates with experience across shipping, receiving, and inventory , with managers determining final placement based on background and business needs. Key Responsibilities Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities. Receive, inspect, unpack, pack, and ship materials. Put away materials using a forklift and reach truck . Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts. Enter and record customer transactions using SAP/database systems . Ensure materials are properly tracked and available for production. Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. Maintain accurate documentation and data entry. Follow company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory operations . Must have or be able to obtain Forklift Certification . Ability to operate a Reach Truck . Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills. Preferred Skills Experience across all three areas: Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory . Previous stockroom experience. Cycle count/inventory control experience. SAP or other database receiving experience. Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word and Excel . Aerospace or manufacturing environment experience. Additional Notes Fully onsite position in Sterling, VA. Overtime is available on weekdays; candidates should be willing to stay late when needed. Potential temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance and business needs. Interview will be onsite and approximately 30 minutes . Candidates must bring a valid government-issued ID (passport) or birth certificate for the facility tour. On-the-job training will be provided. Managers will determine placement between Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory based on candidate experience.
