ShippingReceiving Clerk Location: ShippingReceiving Department Reports To: ShippingReceiving Department Director Position Summary Ad-Tech Industries, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented ShippingReceiving Clerk to support the flow of incoming and outgoing products. This role is essential in ensuring accurate shipments, efficient material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This position is empowered to identify and report any discrepancies or concerns to management. Key Responsibilities Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and banders Transport finished goods from production to the shipping department Read and interpret packing lists, work orders, and product identification tags Ensure accuracy in order numbers, quantities, and shipment details Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams Maintain organized documentation, including packing lists and shipping records Assist with inventory, cleaning, and other assigned tasks Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use Qualifications EducationExperience High school diploma or GED required Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) SkillsAbilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain professionalism with internal teams and external drivers Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs continuously Stand for extended periods throughout the day Use required PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves Work Environment Clean, industrial setting within the shipping and receiving area Temperature varies seasonally due to open dock doors and truck traffic CompensationBenefits Compensation: Hourly rate of $17.00 – $21.00 per hour , based on experience and skill Opportunities for overtime may be available based on business needs Benefits Include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Paid Training Opportunities
