Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

About the Role Funky Chunky is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, fulfill e-commerce and wholesale orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and support daily production operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment and can balance shipping logistics, order processing, inventory management, and communication with vendors and carriers. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, condition, and documentation. Prepare, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately and on time. Process orders through Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms. Fulfill corporate gifting, online gifting, wholesale, bulk, and direct-to-consumer orders. Coordinate shipping schedules, carrier pickups, tracking, and delivery issues. Communicate with vendors and carriers regarding deliveries, delays, and discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged materials, and discrepancies. Supply production lines with raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other required supplies. Process returns and ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded. Maintain organized work areas and follow company safety, food safety, quality, and traceability procedures. Qualifications Experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or inventory control preferred. Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, shipping software, or inventory systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet shipping and production deadlines. Forklift experience or ability to learn and obtain certification. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with production, sales, and operations teams.
