Position Overview:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will support daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, coordinating deliveries to internal teams, preparing outbound shipments, and maintaining an organized shipping area. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to lift and move packages throughout the day.
Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming packages and shipments.
• Scan and track incoming materials using company systems.
• Deliver received materials and packages to the Quality team.
• Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments.
• Create and manage FedEx shipping labels and shipping documentation.
• Maintain inventory of shipping and packaging supplies.
• Break down, organize, and dispose of packaging materials for recycling or reuse.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
Required Experience/Skills for the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator:
• 2-5 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related experience.
• Experience handling packages and maintaining shipping records.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using scanners and shipping software.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator:
• Experience creating shipping labels through FedEx Ship Manager or similar shipping platforms.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, quality, or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and receiving documentation.
Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
