The Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator with experience in an ISO-controlled manufacturing environment. You'll be the first and last checkpoint for material entering and leaving our facility, so traceability from raw material to finished part holds up. This is a growth position. As you develop, you'll have a clear path into Raw Materials Management , Tool Crib Management and/or Job Prep . Key Responsibilities Receive incoming raw material (bar stock, plate, and other materials), purchased components, tooling, and supplies. Verify each against purchase orders, packing slips, and certifications. Check material certifications (mill certs / CoCs) against PO and drawing requirements before releasing material to production. Assign and maintain lot and heat number traceability, labeling and logging material so it can be traced through production to the finished part. Enter receipts, transfers, and shipments accurately in our ERP/inventory system. Segregate and tag nonconforming or quarantined material, and work with Quality on dispositions. Pick, pack, and ship finished product to customer requirements, including packaging specs, labeling, and shipping documentation. Prepare packing lists, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork (UPS, FedEx, LTL). Schedule pickups. Keep all records in line with ISO 13485 and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Perform cycle counts and support physical inventories. Keep the shipping and receiving area organized, clean, and safe. Use a forklift and pallet jack to move material safely. Growth Opportunities Raw Materials Management: Plan and manage bar stock and material inventory, coordinate with purchasing on reorder points and lead times, manage cut-off and remnant tracking, and keep material ready for scheduled jobs. Tool Crib Management: Own cutting tool and insert inventory, set min/max levels, issue and track tooling, work with machinists and vendors, and control tooling costs. Job Preparation: Stage material, tooling, and job paperwork (travelers, prints, certs) so each job is ready to run when it reaches the production floor. Required Qualifications 2+ years of shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working in an ISO-certified environment (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or AS9100) Solid understanding of material traceability, including lot and heat numbers and material certifications Experience with ERP or inventory software (e.g., JobBOSS, E2, Epicor, SAP, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation habits Basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle bar stock and material safely Preferred Qualifications Medical device, aerospace, or precision machining industry experience Forklift certification Familiarity with reading blueprints, POs, and material specs (e.g., stainless, titanium, cobalt chrome, PEEK) Experience with cycle counting, min/max inventory systems, or tool crib software/vending systems Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or LTL freight coordination What We Offer Competitive pay Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays A stable, growing company in the medical device industry A real path to advance into materials, tool crib management, job prep Clean, climate-controlled facility Join us as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to play a key…
