Shipping/Receiving Clerk (MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will ship manufactured parts from the Assembly department and quality check products in accordance with the Engineering drawings and receive all incoming products from vendors by performing the following duties. Shipping & Receiving Clerk Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Verify prints on jobs and confirm that we ship all the components that are included with the job specifications (i.e., handles, panels, rails, etc.) Verify that the prints for the cabinet finish are correct (i.e., powder coated, mill grain, wet coat, etc.) and are sent to the applicable department for finish work. Check enclosures for missing welds, missing components, burn through, scratches, etc. and notify the Shipping Supervisor/QC Manager of any errors. Keep an inventory of cardboard, foam, wood, lag bolts, etc. and inform the Shipping Supervisor if stock parts are needed and restocked prior to running out of stock. Maintain an efficient pace to ensure enclosures are on schedule to ship. Must have experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, drill, and a strapping machine. Keep the shipping area clean and organized. Performs other duties as assigned that may not be outlined or noted in this job description. Such duties may require working in other departments than which you normally work or were assigned upon hire. In addition, work schedule and/or hours may vary or differ than your normal assigned schedule and are contingent on production needs and at the discretion of management. Good attendance and punctuality are essential requirements to adequately perform this position. Preferred Skills and/or Education: Pass the forklift test to operate the forklift. Must have a valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 40lbs consistently. Standing and bending with little or no time sitting Must have the ability to work in a “non-climate-controlled” environment Must be able to wear PPE for duration of shift.
