They oversee daily operations to ensure that products are received and shipped efficiently, safely and accurately. They guide team members, train new employees, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, stepping in as needed to achieve productivity goals. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the special orders area. Lead a team of 2 to 4 special order personnel. Report to supervisors and the manager on productivity levels and any issues. Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to oversee the incoming special products. Use spreadsheets to track the special order workload. Assist with the receiving, picking, and shipping of special orders. Work with purchasing department on processes, procedures, and issues. Ensure the freight paperwork is complete and turn it in to Accounting or Purchasing. Push special orders out as needed to clear locations. Work with Purchasing on resold products. Train new people in receiving and shipping of special orders. Safety and Security of the facility. Assist with receiving inbound freight, picking and shipping outgoing cases and bottles, setting up new products, reslotting product, and performing inventory cycle counts. Assist pickers with investigating order and label issues. Train employees and hold meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page. Back up supervisors and lead workers. Qualifications PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: **Must obtain Forklift certification from the Wyoming Liquor Division within 6 months of employment. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of warehouse procedures and techniques including sorting and stacking. Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I OR Education & Experience Substitution: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a sustained rate.
