Shipping/Receiving Clerk

General Summary: Responsible for labeling and packaging all production chemistry, as well as receiving, picking, and shipping orders. Principal among these responsibilities is the accuracy filling, labeling, and packaging of all blended products; secondary responsibilities include receiving incoming raw materials, loading and unloading trucks, accurately entering information into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and maintaining finished products in the warehouse. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Labels and packages all production chemistry ensuring continuous accuracy. Ensures proper and safe storage and handling of all raw materials and finished goods; maintains forklift and handling procedures per established protocols. Accurately receives, picks, and ships orders. Unloads/load trucks in accordance with all safety and regulatory procedures. Enters transactional information into the ERP system timely and accurately. Prepares and ships orders via common carrier, RBP truck, UPS or FedEx. Maintains warehouse inventory accuracy; assists in annual physical inventories and weekly cycle counts. Maintains housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse. Provides recommendations to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for improved supply chain operations. Maintains accountability of personal safety via proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Knowledge & Background Requirements: Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent required. Professional licensing and/or Certifications Preferred: DOT CFR 49 certification preferred; RCRA certification preferred. Skills & Experience Required: 2-3 years warehouse experience and fork lift operation experience preferred. Chemical handling experience highly preferred. Prior Team-Building and self-directed workforce experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to meet all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements; ability to lift materials in accordance with applicable OSHA standards. Work Environment: Typical Chemical, Warehouse, and Shipping area environment. Minimal travel. First shift only.
