Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $19.00 - $23.00. The pay rate is negotiable and will be based on experience. Health, Dental, Life, Disability Insurance / Paid Time Off / Holiday Pay / 401K With Company Match / Free Uniforms / Employee Incentive Program / Fantastic Educational and Career Advancement Benefits / Paid Training / On-site Welder Training Program available for all employees **Responsibilities: ** Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct Receive and inspect inbound inventory, includes reporting of any discrepancies, entry into computer, and delivering material to the correct person/department Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area Pulls, packs and ships all parts orders Perform vehicle yard maintenance and other general labor work as needed Assist with routine building care and maintenance including, but not limited to snow removal, garbage removal, hazmat, scrap, and basic landscaping needs Assist with inventory management of PPE equipment and safety materials Perform other related duties as assigned ** ** **Qualifications / Requirements: ** High school graduate or equivalent Shipping/Receiving and warehouse experience required, related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment is preferred Computer literate with experience on Microsoft Outlook and related shipping/receiving software. Ability to work in a high paced environment Team player, positive attitude, and solid interpersonal/problem-solving skills Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Customer service-minded and focused on providing quality products with best-in-class service You should be proficient in: Shipping/Receiving Material Handler Experience ERP & MRP Systems Packaging Experience Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Microsoft Excel Bills of Lading data entry forklift operation material handling Microsoft Outlook
