Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Packs orders in containers per customer requirements / requests and based on the type, size, and number of units involved. Uses appropriate packaging material to prevent breakage or damage to product. Closes and seals containers to meet carriers’ rules and regulations. Places appropriate labeling and identifying data on containers. Ships orders to customers via designated carriers. Assists with cleaning, degreasing, and oil dipping of parts as needed prior to shipping. Delivers material certificates and other paperwork to the correct department for entry. Receive all incoming materials, component parts, items from outside processors. Maintains a meticulously clean and organized work area with special attention to removal of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Organizes and maintains stock shelves including: proper labeling, correct paperwork, and returning materials to correct location Establishes strong communication and report with team leads Accurately fills out Vista (i.e. Mark as pulled, initial receipt, mark ready for production, Identify material location and quantity, fill-in PMI and heat treat information) Complies with all safety and regulatory guidelines Essential Education, Skills and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required Strong attention to detail Highly organized Proactive Ability to multi-task and prioritize Demonstrated problem solver Experience with different types of materials, metals, and alloys preferred Basic to moderate computer skills desired Certified Forklift Operator preferred, but can be trained Physical/Environmental Requirements: Works in a manufacturing environment with loud noises and various chemicals including mineral spirits and oil. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
