Experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk Needed for Distribution Center Pay: From $20.00 per hour Location: Davenport, IA Are you an experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk looking for a new opportunity? Join our team in Davenport! We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in shipping and receiving operations to ensure the smooth flow of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities: Oversee the verification and record-keeping of all incoming and outgoing shipments with precision and accuracy. Expertly assemble and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery to our valued customers. Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies or damages. Maintain meticulous inventory records, optimizing stock levels and minimizing shortages. Take charge of organizing the warehouse and work area, maximizing efficiency and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires being on the warehouse floor regularly to review operations. Qualifications: College Degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse or similar role. Proven ability to write clear reports and correspondence, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong mathematical aptitude, including proficiency in computing rates, ratios, and percentages. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Strong work ethic and reliability. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive starting salary of $20.00 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
