Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00- 22.00 per hour.- Salary: Depending on the candidate experience and skills Shift: 1st— Monday to Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. Key Responsibilities Receiving Receive incoming raw material, in-process material returning from external suppliers, packaging, and general supplies Verify quantities, part numbers, lot numbers, and traceability documentation against POs, certifications and routings Inspect for damage, document and quarantine non-conforming or short-shipped material Put away to correct locations in ERP/WMS and update inventory transactions in real time Shipping Pick, pack, stage, and load outgoing material to customers, external suppliers, and inter-plant transfers Load and unload trucks safely Material Handling · Stage and deliver raw material, transfer work in process, and return processed lots from external suppliers to the correct operation · Execute all internal moves per the routing with real-time ERP transactions, keeping production locations and lot traceability accurate at all times · Segregate and remove process scrap and non-conforming material per procedure Inventory & Documentation Support physical inventories, research and resolve discrepancies Maintain lot traceability and FIFO rotation. Keep dock, staging, and warehouse areas organized, clean, and audit-ready (ISO 9001 / IATF16949) Push and support 5S policies Equipment & Safety Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and banding/wrapping equipment Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazmat handling rules where applicable Identify and report safety hazards and process improvement opportunities Requirements & Education High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years warehouse experience; shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment Forklift experience (company certification provided) Experience with ERP/WMS transactions and Microsoft Office/Excel basics Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly; standing, walking, bending throughout shift Working Conditions Fast-paced manufacturing warehouse; exposure to seasonal temperature variation Frequent lifting, reaching, and operation of powered industrial trucks Occasional overtime and flexed start times around carrier schedules Organization correlation: · Reports to: Logistics Outsourcing Coordinator · Subordinate positions: none · Supports: Sorting, Quality & Production Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Location: In person
