Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the efficient movement of goods through our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless logistics flow and support our commitment to quality service. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, shortages, and report issues promptly. Perform quality inspections of incoming materials. Unload, sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements. Generate and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, and receiving records. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records within our ERP system. Conduct cycle counts and assists with physical inventory. Ensure shipments are processed accurately and on schedule. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team Strong computer skills required Experience with FedEx and UPS software required Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred Forklift experience required 2+ years of hands-on experience as a shipping & receiving clerk High School Diploma or GED Join us in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact our success!
