JAB RecruitmentJob Details Job Overview Job Title:(Shipping & Receiving) Location: Oklahoma City, OK Shift: 1st Shift (0800–1630 / 12-hour shifts) Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Employment Type: Temporary Position Summary The Storekeeper is responsible for executing product and material handling and movement within the warehouse in compliance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists, ensuring items are received in satisfactory condition and matching purchase orders; report discrepancies promptly. Complete material fulfillment upon Division request and ensure outgoing inventory items are suitably packed with complete documentation. Perform inspecting, labeling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, disposal, and cycle counting of inventory items. Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency and safety. Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas. Support periodic physical counts and investigate/resolve local inventory issues as directed by the Supervisor. Perform tasks associated with Kitting, Kanban point-of-use replenishment, and materials management initiatives. Operate a forklift or other materials handling equipment upon completion of training and certification. Qualifications & Requirements Physical Requirements: Must not be afraid of heights; comfortable working outside in the elements with the potential for getting dirty. Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant warehouse experience, including forklift operation (Sit-Down and/or 3-Way Narrow Aisle). Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliable transportation, good attendance, and a positive "want-to" attitude. Preferred Skills: SAP experience, inventory control, and swing reach experience. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including personnel and QHSE standards.
