SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE – Full Job Description WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Understand and reinforce the Attica Motorsports Vision, Growth & Standards Actively seeks out ways to improve efficiency in the service team's day. Understands that our facility is a representation of who we are and strives to make it look the best it possibly can. Constantly works to improve systems and processes that will bring value to our customers and team through cleaning, organization, and massive action. Shipping Clerk Duties and Responsibilities: Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages as needed Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them, providing great customer service Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods Position Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of off-road vehicle parts is suggested but not necessary Excellent communication and decision-making skills Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shifts Organizational skills Must have proficiency with the use of a computer Attica Motorsports is Midwest’s highest volume off-road vehicle dealership!
