Shipping & Receiving Associate Location: Livermore, CA | Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support the day-to-day flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This role is central to keeping our operations running smoothly — making sure outbound orders go out on time and incoming materials are received, checked, and stored correctly. The primary focus of this position is shipping/outbound, with receiving duties as a secondary responsibility. Key Responsibilities Shipping / Outbound (primary): Coordinate with delivery and freight carriers for scheduled pickups and shipments; prepare, pack, and stage outgoing orders for dispatch; load packages and assist with moving items as needed; verify outgoing shipments against orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. Receiving / Inbound: Receive raw materials and deliveries from vendors; inspect incoming goods for damage, correct quantity, and quality against purchase orders and packing lists; move and store materials in their designated locations; accurately update received inventory in the system; flag any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor. General: Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe; follow all warehouse safety procedures; support other warehouse tasks as needed. Requirements Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet throughout the shift; dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented; basic computer skills for system/inventory updates; ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Preferred (not required) Prior warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience; forklift or pallet jack experience; familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems. We are willing to train the right candidate. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
